RATIFICATION RESULTS

Dear AAFMCC Members:

The results of the TA Ratification Vote are as follows:

YES = 81%

NO = 19%

The new TA is therefore ratified by the membership. We want to thank everyone who came out to vote. It now needs to go to the MCC Board of Trustees for approval. They meet in K-324 this Tuesday, March 19th at 7:30 pm. We urge anyone who is able to attend in support of the new agreement.

CONTRACT CHANGES

Key Points:

1. Section 15. 1      1% on schedule raise through 2016-17 and 2017-18.
2. Cap raised from 22 - 23 equated hours annually and 11.5 equated hours in a term not to exceed the annual hard cap.
3. Defined the calendar year as the basis for the hard cap limit of 23 equated hours.
4. the contract still protects your collective bargainning rights until August 2018
